1. NFC for Mobile Payment



Instead of building NFC into the iPhone, Apple would rather have you use its Passbook system, which lets lets users store tickets, gift cards, boarding passes, and the like.

It can handle some (but definitely not all) of the tasks that you might use NFC for. For example, you can't use Passbook to wirelessly send money to a friend via PayPal.

NFC also lets you beam content between devices just by tapping them together. Samsung's Galaxy S III takes advantage of this feature.

This is the only one that I actually consider as a notable feature lacking from the iPhone. I was really expecting them to include NFC capability.

Because I haven't even come close to filing up my 16GB iPhone 3GS, I would like better battery life, but the Android offers broadly similar battery life.

Why would I want an HDMI port when I can sling video to my AppleTV?

9. Add media WITHOUT having to plug it into a computer or BUY
music through Itunes.

10. Download media such as apps OR music OR videos from regular websites, without using the app store.

11. Flash.

12. Download a different web browser and set it as DEFAULT.

13. Download a different keyboard.

14. REAL Multitasking outside of Audio

15. The ability to customize the entire OS to your specific
liking with live wallpapers, active widgets, and custom
launchers... all right through the app store WITHOUT having to
hack your phone.

16. Upload photos and videos right to photobucket WITHOUT having to launch the app, do it right from your photo/video gallery.

17. Watch a video PiP, while browsing the web, text message, or
anything else.

18. The abillity to use an app like Tasker which lets you
program your phone to do specific things upon specific events,
such as: When I get to my home, turn on wifi automatically and
connect, when I leave, turn off wifi, and 1,000 other event
specific programmable actions.

19. The ability to turn on and off power saving services such as
Wifi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth, GPS, Power saving processor speed,
airplane mode, driving mode, sync... right from a quick drop
down menu, instead of having to go into settings and locate the
specific service you want by going through multiple menus.

20. The ability to HIDE your apps in a drawer, so you don't have
your entire screen just filled with folders and icons... a much
cleaner look.

21. The CHOICE of having Live updating weather, email, social
media, music players, video players, stock tickers, news feeds
right on your homescreen, without having to actually launch an
app... or not, it's up to you.

22. The ability to plug in a a 500GB++ external harddrive,
DIRECTLY to your phone, transfer ANY TYPE of file to your phone, or PLAY music/videos right FROM the harddrive, through your phone, WITHOUT transferring it.

23. The ability to plug in your phone, and use it like an
external harddrive, dragging and dropping any kind of file as
simple as a word document or note, and as complex as full EXE
programs and games, to take with you just like a flash/thumb
drive.
