Thomas & Mack, Las Vegas - Middleweight contender Matthew Macklin (29-4) was able to get back in the winner's circle after his dominant TKO victory over Joachim Alcine (33-3-1). Macklin jumped on Alcine early dropping him twice in the opening minute of the fight. He then unleashed a flurry of punches that Alcine didn't answer which forced referee Jay Nady to strip the fight at the 2:36 mark of the 1st round. Before the fight Macklin had said that he hoped a win would lead him to a fight against the Chavez-Martinez winner. His performance definitely didn't hurt his chances.

Alcine got blown out in 1 like vs Angulo... Macklin hurt ALcine who looked dry and just kept the pressure high on ALcine who couldn't recup...
Alcine didn't have the crowd and emtional factor in this one like he had vs Lemieux Hls of the TKO and KDs Here if you couldn't catch it: http://www.the13thround.com/phpBB2/v...p?f=85&t=96206 ENjoy! |
