I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure I would call it smart. I think it is decidedly stupid to vote for a President just because he has the same colour skin as you. That, to me, shows irrationality.

I think a person's ability to objectively evaluate various candidates on their own merit, without distinguishing by skin colour, shows a higher intelligence.

Maybe the results tell us that white people are more objective than black people, or perhaps they tell us that Romney was a bad candidate.
