Because all the big fights are in Vegas yet Vegas is really only convenient for people in California possibly Arizona and Utah by car. Plus while Vegas being a pretty big city the locals don't attend because they don't go to the casinos so the casinos would rather just give those tickets away to gamblers than to really market them to locals.
Now Vegas can be done on the cheap even flying in but no one really has fun in Vegas unless they have a wad in their pocket that could choke a horse, with even bigger reserves. Plus people are not really balling out at the moment but even in the best of times only so many have desire to do Vegas like Vegas should be done. |
