Default late 80s Holyfield vs late 80s Tony Tucker

I'm having a friendly disagreement with another regular poster over this. I say Tucker could never match Holyfields work rate and never had the tools or dedication to over come it. Holyfield by UD or late stoppage. He says Tucker decisions Holyfield. Thoughts.............

Ooooo.....on the run up to Tyson, Tucker was no joke. Undefeated, a sterling amateur record too (check it out). He'd also beaten a pretty half decent Buster Douglas. Tucker didn't do badly against Tyson either, if he wasn't injured that fight could have been closer.....he did win rounds against Tyson, which back then was impressive!

Sadly after Tyson, he seemed to lose his mojo a bit. I'd favour the Holyfield who beat Dokes to decision post-Tyson Tucker.

But the 1989 Holyfield who met Alex Stewart vs pre Tyson Tucker.....thats a different story!

In that time frame I'd pick Holyfield by a competitive but unanimous decision. Tucker had a solid chin so no KO here. Actually I feel rather strongly about this pick.
