Earlier today, renowned rapper, actor, entrepreneur and now boxing promoter 50 Cent announced that his energy drink, SK Energy, has become an official sponsor of undefeated WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. ahead of his upcoming September 15th title defense against middleweight king Sergio Martinez. Although official details have yet to be revealed, FightHype has been informed that Chavez Jr. will be wearing an SK Energy patch on his shorts during the fight. Partnering with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), 50 Cent is on a mission to to feed one billion people. Available nationwide in hundreds of retailers, every SK Energy shot sold provides a meal to a hungry child in Africa. To date, they have funded well over 3.5 million meals. The sponsorship of Chavez Jr. through the biggest fight of his career will no doubt help increase awareness of the SK Energy cause in the Hispanic community.

I agree. It is stupid, Sergio is going to destroy Jr. They did sign Caballero and Dib, so you can see that they're in to signing losers. Floyd was only signing losers like Said Ouali to his Mayweather Promotions. I guess they have the mentality that you have to start low and work your way up.
