It was Boxing Illustrated in the late '80's, I believe. Joe Louis wrote about beating Ali at one time. Ali wrote a similar article on how he would have beaten Tyson. If anyone has the article, please post as I lost the magazine years ago.

Argh! I can remember reading it online about 6 months ago.

Ali was saying if he fought Tyson it would be the "real" Muhammad Ali, the one who beat Cleveland Williams. I'm sorry I can't find the link, but it is available online.
