Well no.... Why would ya give a shet about the Suns in 2012 ? Go back to 06 and 07 and your gonna tell me those Suns teams didn't leave a bad flavor in your mouth ??? OK.... ![]() Sure that's what human nature does 2 us as fans. We give all praise 2 the team and players that defeat our teams. Come 2 think of it ? I loved those 90's Bulls teams !!! ![]() Last edited by BERNIE'S CORNER; 08-12-2012 at 09:13 PM.. |

didn't say we don't care about the suns. i'm saying there's no reason to underrate amare. it's not like losing to them was a heartbreak. we were like 7-8 seed and it was 1st round. btw 411. pretty sure those years you mentioned amare didn't play in one year. i think one was when suns had like top record with amare missing the season. another reason i don't think much of amare. let me look it up. |

yeah i just looked it up, amare played 3 games total 06 season.
he was so great, his team won 54 games w/o him. and the reason we're not bitter about it much is we had kwame brown, luke walton and smush parker as starters. unlike nyk we knew we weren't very good and didn't expect much. another reason is after those seasons, we went to 3 straight finals and won back to back titles. 2011 and 2012 hurt a lot more because we had expectations. you don't see me hating on dirk or durant. |

Whole up wait a minute.... I didn't say he was the best thing since slice bread. If you wanna compare lets. Same level as Kemp minus the kids ? You make em out 2 b just a stat padder. Well the upside was there when he 1st showed up on the scene. He's no scrub. He was and is limited due to injuries. That 54 win season by Suns has no bearing on Amare's abilty to ball pror to the injury. Laker fans have and r spoiled. No way around it. Expectations r there every season regardless if ya win 3 straight or loose in the 1st round. Enough of this !!! I'm gonna watch replays of Willis Reed and the 73 Championship season. Haven't made up my mind ? Should I throw a parade or not ? ![]() |
