oh man, the WORST was this telemarketing scam that my buddy had me doing. i lasted two days though had i continued i would be a millionaire in jail right now. getting ready to come out and spend my cash. my conscience couldn't deal with it though.
basically people would enter lotteries at shopping centres, non-government sanctioned lottos. people who entered obviously left their personal info like phone numbers, addresses, etc. that information was sold to us as a lead. we would then call these people, mostly phucking seniors. we tell them they'd won a lottery, 3mill or whatever, but because our corporation is based in 'name that country' they'd have to send the federal taxes in order for the government to release the cheque. 8 grand or whatever we could get out of them. the successful call that i had mentioned was to a partially blind old lady, told her the spiel and she was actually going to get somebody to pick her up to send the money....i couldn't do it. i hung up the phone and that was the end of it. she was crying, thanking me, talking about how i was about to change her life. man, thank Jehovah that i never went through with that ****. |

making bricks in Mexico........
Laying the mud, putting mud on the brick mold, cutting each individual brick, placing each brick in forms. then building a tower/oven out of the dried bricks. The entire process took months The worst part was carrying them across the lot to throw up at the person that was actually building the tower. Although I did both and being on the tower was significantly easier but you did risk falling down and the sun would beat down on you horribly on average it would be in the high 90's - 100's. doing it for hours was a health hazard. You had to take your own water up to the tower which wasn't easy since you had to carry it up some stairs. cutting the bricks wasn't that bad. You would cut the sides and bottoms. Cutting hundreds of bricks a day got boring though. When it rained you had to stop what you were doing , This meant having to get up at the middle of the night if you heard rain. you had to cover all the dried mud bricks or you would risk losing the entire load. Which meant losing thousands of bricks, thousands of $ and thousands of man hours. Sometimes the storms would be so bad that we would get stranded and we had to take shelter in the actual oven/tower itself. all in all it was horrible and most Yanks/Europeans will never experience anything remotely as challenging oh and I didn't get paid anything..... I was allowed to live with them that was my payment.... living |

Burger King...the cleaning the bathrooms, the fries, the standing behind that hot ass grill sweating on top of frozen Whoppers, dressing up like Barney for birthday parties getting kicked by these little fu•king brats...but there was one thing that I didn't hate...working the night shift with a 22 year old slut manager...we had some good times in the freezer!
