I never liked Lampley because he does not know much about boxing even though he has been calling fights for so long now. He thinks he is an expert but he isn't. It is possible to be very knowledgeable about boxing without being a boxer. Merchant is and Lampley isn't. Lampley trying to call every punch like it was radio is annoying. Foreman was a great fighter but he stinks as a comentater and often makes no sense at all. Steward is the best and most knowledgeable of the HBO crew. Steward and Merchant don't say to much but what they say is worth listening to. Foreman and Lampley talk way to much and most of what they say is bs. in my opinion.
