C'mon man, it cant be that hard to understand. If you listen to some of the commentators during fights, then you'd have an idea of the fighter's walking around weight.

What if your a fat guy or a tall skinny guy its not going to work everybody is different , the only real way is to take them there and see the result , it takes years to tune the body to its best weight but the divisions keep everybody within touch , best weight meaning the most power and endurance with the most speed , as you strengthen one you lose on another the best for anyone is perfect balance and harmony .

I think 8-12% would be more realistic, 5% is ridiculously low, dangerous and near impossible if not impossible to maintain. Competitive bodybuilders on stage are around that & they only stay at that for a relatively short period.
The only boxer I can think of probably, somewhere around that is Tim Bradley.
If your bodyfat is too low it can actually lead to decrease in strength.

It's simply a comfort point and it varies by age, road wear, etc. Combat sports aren't exactly "natural", so a natural weight is subjective.
