Jim Carrey EASY.

Every Carrey move was about him instead of the story itself. He made every movie what it was and he was consistantley great without fail.

Sandler's movies were about the story and general circumstance rather than his character. IMO Sandler sucks and doesn't have much comedic value. Most overrated comedian of all-time.

Happy gilmore is one of my favorite movies of all time. The whole movie just cracks me up anytime I watch it to this day. Plus the wedding singer, billy madison, little nicky, etc. Most of his movies nowadays lack what those movies had but he still has a couple funny ones. I thought just go with it was hella funny. Jim carey has ace venturra the pet detective, the mask, dumb and dumber lol. Damn its close but got to give it to sandler jus because of happy gilmore

Individually its close imo, but adam sandlers crew/directing puts him over the edge. Strange wilderness, grandmas boy, etc. 'Nuff said....

Jim Carey by miles. Dumb & Dumber is better than anything Sandler's ever done combined. I like The Wedding Singer and the Waterboy and 1 or 2 others but Carey is funnier and a better actor.
