Default Super Featherweight boxing scene in Europe

It's really good and interesting at the moment guys.
We have Devis Boschiero who was robbed of world title against Takahiro Ao and last week He was very lucky to get a decision against now former European champion, Ermano Fegatilli from Belgium, who is another really good fighter with win over Stephen Foster on his record.
Foster is about to face his domestic rival Gary Buckland for British title in a fight that should be electric. Stephen was robbed from interim title against Alex Arthur couple years ago and despite loss to Fegatilli he seems to still keep his good level.
Gary Buckland, considered number one in U.K is another interesting fighter. He's really good to watch with his aggression and intensity.
Beside those guys, we have former European World Champion, very solid Vitaly Tajbert, who even in his lose to Ao gave very good effore and guy who beat Tajbert couple years ago and lost a close decision in Mexico, Sergey Gulyakevych from Belarus.
I'd really love to see some of those guys being matched with each other. Boschiero has a European title right now, so there's very good chance that we may see him in U.K against Buckland or Foster, or maybe with Gulyakevych in Italy. Tajbert clash is rather doubtful, but who knows. I just hope some of those guys will fight each other.

It's a very weak division in Europe. Might even be the weakest division in World boxing.

When I was a kid Europe was decent in the Fly to Welter range & the USA was Middle & up but nowadays it's the opposite.

On the UK side Steve Smith looks a decent prospect but not world class.

I guess I exaggerated in saying that it's good, but maybe because I was looking at 126 prior to taking a look at 130 and featherweight is even worse in Europe. Still I think it's insteresting at super featherweight with solid group of evenly matched fighters that could make for great fights.

It was always one of my favourite divisions but it's very weak now. There's always good bouts to be made in every division but promoters & TV tend to get in the way.

I'm sure it will come good again.
