It is not a fair comparison as the guys who De La Hoya fought are decent sized welterweights and were in their prime. If they were still around today Pacquiao would be fighting at 140lbs.

It isn't a fair comparison. Oscar was a big welterweight and I think Pacquiao could still fight well at 135 if he choose to. He effortlessly made 138 for Hatton 3 years ago at age 30. You don't grow after age 30.He fights at 147 because that's where the money is and he can easily make weight without drying out.
