Vitali Klitschko's promoter has hinted that his fighter remains open to the prospect of a clash with David Haye.

Suiliman previously stated The WBC will not accept David Haye. He is not rated by the WBC. And, the British Board of Control cant issue anything against someone who is not affiliated to them any more. If he was licensed, hed for sure have his licence taken away from him. It would be setting a bad example for boxing if we accepted David Haye.
Unless they change their minds, I doubt the fight is possible. I don't see Vitali getting stripped of the title he spent his career defending to fight Haye. Hopefully, the WBC will do the right thing and give Haye a ranking. Did I really just say "WBC" and "do the right thing?" ![]() |
