Indeed he was smart and articulate, but that does not mean his right blows over his wrong. He wanted seperation and segregation while many blacks wanted intergration.
His interviews with Parkinson post Foreman was a great example of his intellect, but he still had dodgy views on a greater level. I believe he followed and stood by Ellijah (Sp) who said, Kill the White man.
He did have good fights in the ring, but since you talked about behaviour as a person, we need to look at it on the whole. He even had a square off with Foreman I believe on TV and was jabbing and dancing.
The greatest ever, yes he may very well be, but if you are going to put two men down on their mouth and actions, at least regard the man you have in your signature as the same despite what he achieved because that does not make a difference to the wrong he said.
The way I see it, if a neighbour gave his money to others, helped out with charity and was a great member of the community, if he then abuses a little girl, all that goodness is overwritten with that bad.
Haye has a big mouth, and Chisora has done some wrong, but that does not mean they are bad people. They are there to make a living, to try and earn money to keep themselves comfortable. I can't hate on that because it doesn't hurt anyone other than themselves.
