Former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (37-3, 30KOs) is considering the possibility of a move to 160-pounds on December 1. Cotto's return could take place in New York's Madison Square Garden or a venue in Las Vegas.

I think he'll get more respect for staying at 154 and fighting the best there. Fighting for a middleweight title at a catchweight will only mean that he should have ZERO excuses about the Pacquiao fight (weight draining) then. My opinion.
I think he can beat most of these top jr middleweights anyways. Besides, I dont think Golden Boy is ready to make the Cotto-Canelo clash. Canelo may want it but I dont think GP wants it yet. |
