I'd have to agree with a lot of lists here Katsidis, Maidana, Marquez, Froch, but i'll add Ward in there too.
Katsidis is like the modern day Gatti.
Mikkel Kessler, Arthur Abraham, and Chad Dawson all deserve mentions as well. I guess it all depends on your definition of toughness. I know a lot will disagree with Dawson being tough, but his first fight against Johnson, his fight against Diaconu and Hopkins II showed he's one of the toughest fighters out there against multiple styles.
