John McCain is telling the house how boxing needs Government oversight and sights Pac-Bradley as the most recent reason of why.

Espn, XM radio, HBO, Showtime announcers, NBA Finals Announcers talking about it.... Twiitter is exploding, Facebook Famous accounts are exploding... If you never heard of Timothy Bradley before, youve now heard of him.

Two things... One, you saw a good competitive fight... TWO, you saw Pacquiao win, but lose the decision....So now what?

You're NOT going to watch the rematch?!

We've all saw Marquez III times... Will we see a good fight? Sure. But it will be the same exact outcome.." another razor close decision, where it could go eitherway, and the other side screaming robbery.

Bradley is ACTUALLY now more of a sell than Marquez IV, because the buzz will be higher.. Its more recent, more talked about, and YES, more controversial.

Can Pac finally clearly win (more)? Can Bradley win legit? Another controversial decision? Knockout?

Like it or not... For Pacquiao... THIS is the most controversial, heated, hottest topic / fighter Pac could face.

Yes, the few weeks following the "robbery" people say "oh hell no I aint buying that rematch, F Bob Arum/TopRank etc. but once the time comes, with enough promotion it will do well.

It also helps that pacquiao has been on record saying that he will go for nothing less than a KO in their rematch (brings in hope for his fans)

My only issue with it is that the fight itself was kinda boring imo. I personally will not buy it but I will still tune in.

It also seems that the new angle of selling a Pacquiao fight is always "does he still have it?"

That seems to be the go to call of HBOs promotion and kinda "the reason you should tune in". It's no longer "witness Pacquiao BLAST through his opponents in dramatic fashion!"

That's the way I see it.

They could use both the rematch clause/robbery and the "does pacquiao still have it?" card to sell the rematch PPV.

I personally don't believe ANYONE should buy the rematch. Not even Pacquiao fans. He'll still get paid good. Follow Lampley's word of boycotting boxing.

That's why I feel Pac vs Bradley will happen in the fall.

The smart thing to do right now is go for the rematch will the controversy/buzz is at a high.

Controversy sells, which means this fill will easily do over 1.2 million buys.

I've ordered every pac fight for years except Clottey and unless it has a reallllllly good undercard, i'm passing on it if its JMM 4 or Bradley again

I really don't think this fight does do big numbers after the way this fight left a bad taste in everyones mouth. Alot of people don't wanna see a rematch because there is really no need being that 90% of the public already got a clear cut winner.

This is the reason there is talk that there won't be an immediate rematch. Pacqiao really doesn't need Bradley as much as Bradley needs Pacquiao, he won't make that kind of money anywhere else outside of Floyd and that fight isn't happenin. I wouldn't pay to see this fight again.
