Ever watch a fight live, then go home and watch it?

And up seeing a completely different fight?

Every fight I goto, I always DVR it or PPV it to watch it when I get home.

I remember seeing Jones Hanshaw, and at the end of the fight, I thought Roy definitely lost, though my boy through text thought Roy dominated, when I got home to watch it, I saw a completely different fight.

Point of all that is, I think ring side, from only one static angle, is probably the worst possible way to watch a fight if you really need to see what's going on. I'm not so sure judges should be sitting rindgside.

Also, depending on how the fighters are fighting, in most cases, each judge sees a different fight from a different angle. I think this is the case in a lot of in-fighting matches, where punches are smothered, or blocked from view, where one judge sees them land and another cant even see the punch being thrown.

Thoughts?

I can say with almost 100% certainty that you get a better view of a fight on tv, than at the actual live fight.

Also even on tv, most of us a drunk by the main event & almost all the time you watch the fight, the second viewing brings about something previously missed.

I still have to watch Pacman-Bradley again. But Pacman won the 1st time I saw it.

Mayweather vs. Cotto.

Live I had it 115-113 for Mayweather.

When I watched the DVR from the HBO replay I had it 117-111.

Seeing the different camera angles and being able to rewind makes a huge difference in your perception of the fight.

no not really...unless i was drinking heavily i can understand how i'm seeing a fight differently. but i was completely sober when i was watching pac vs bradley and i scored it 8-4 for pac...i rewatched it again and still came out with the same score of 8-4....maybe at MOST i can see bradley winning 5 rounds, but nothing more than that. no matter what i still have pac winning the fight.

At first I thought that Manny was winning easy,
but now I still think that Manny won but I admit that it was a lot closer than it seemed to be LIVE.

I must say fans have a huge affect on live fights too.

You hear fans screaming and hollering at flurries even when punches aren't landing.

Same here. At the fight I had it 116-112 but scored it a little wider when i rewatched on the plane ride home. Williams vs Martinez was different live as well. I think i had it a draw live and Martinez winning on tv. (the first fight of course)
