Like you stated, you've sparred guys just as fast. You've probably had enough experience to be reading these younger fresher dudes, but i think your body isn't on the same page as your brain anymore.

Well I exaggerated a little but it sure felt like it. He had an awkward style, like a counter puncher but with a lot of movement. I found myself doing things I normally don't do like chasing him and getting frustrated.

Not really, I don't hold much. I hate to do it and I have a bad habit of not doing it when I should.

He was more like 154 but he was heavier that day I believe. I'm at about 185-190 now but like I said, he was in tip top shape and seemed to be getting faster as the rounds went on.

Could be, I hate to admit it's my age and I won't. I do well against almost anyone I have ever sparred but for some reason this guy had my number.
