Kevin Cunningham reached out to BoxingScene.com to respond to recent comments made by WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi on Twitter. Malignaggi, the self proclaimed Twitter King (#TK), tweeted that he wanted to fight Cunningham's fighter Devon Alexander this past December but that Alexander turned down the opportunity and fought Marcos Maidana instead.

Cunningham is always funny. Devon cant hang with the words but Paulie vs Kevin would be a classic..........lol

With that being said, I wasnt feelin what Kevin was saying because when they were on top, they wouldnt give Paulie the time of day. Now Paulie has a belt so they are trying to get in but the tables are reversed.

However, I then thought it was ok because they said they would go to NY to fight him so I say, lets do it. Id rather see both guys fight someone else though.

Just like he had nothing to keep Khan, Cotto, or Hatton off him.
