Who fought better opponents Jones or hopkins

I think James Toney was on steroid against Holyfield Jirov and all his fights at that time. How does a guy go from being terrible at 175 to looking like a bodybuilder and knocking out holyfield. then transforming into a fat puke. it doesnt happen naturally.

Winky and oscar weren't washed up when you look at the age Hopkins was.

Hopkins is a one of a kind fighter. His age doesn't affect how good his opponents are or what level they're at in their career. Oscar retired after that fight. Winky took a long lay off then came back and got schooled by Williams who he would never have lost to in his prime. Hopkins however, is still fighting at an elite level at the age of 47.

You want to give it to jones because of Toney. Well Toney was not very good at 175. he lost to griffin and a club fighter. He was great at cruiser and heavy but looking at his build against jirov and holyfeild i have to say he was juicing. how does a fat ass like him ll the sudden look like a body builder?

Toney Vs. Jones was a SMW bout, where Toney was ranked #1. He was also #3 P4P a year earlier fighting at the same weight.

This right here!

Hopkins made almost ALL his opponents move up in weight. Every big name on Hopkins record moved up a weight class or two. Most of his big names were WELTERWEIGHT fighters. Hopkins has also always been a BIG middleweight, now fighting at light heavy.

Jones has the better record by a mile.
