So to those who like to be the prophets of doom, i'm afraid the only countries that the us will attack are lesser countries. China is just too strong and too valuable a nation to wage a war upon.

Well China's military has been growing rapidly for some time (funded in large part by us) and at some point they are going to try and reclaim Taiwan, who are supposed to be our ally. China is also not too thrilled with us inflating our dollar. Or if we elected some moron like Trump, who wants to put a huge tariff on Chinese imports, that would create some friction. But we definitely have more immediate threats.

It's not if we can take them or not but it will be a logistical nightmare if we were to go to war with China. We will need many more soldiers as well n in order to do that, we will need to start a draft again.

Being a superpower means you have to have a strong military force and nukes. As China is one of the main superpowers, it will have a strong military force, just like the us. They will always have issues with regards to economic/foreign policy, but i doubt China/Us will go to war for ****ty Taiwan.

If Trump puts a huge Tariff on Chinese imports, China will do something about it, but it won't be WW3.

My point is, Russian was a far bigger enemy to the us than what China is, and even they didn't start WW3. Because WW3 means the whole world will be ****ed and go back the dark ages. Something both Us and China don't want.
