Technically yes, I could eat mcdonalds everyday and lose weight as long as I stay within the calorie restrictions. The problem is, the typical mcdonalds meal with a burger fries and pop is around 1000-1200 calories... That leaves you with 400 left for the entire day... So what will happen is at noon you eat mcdonalds, by 4-5 oclock youre hungry and by 10-11 youre hungry again.

The cleaner you eat the more you can eat... The worse you eat the less you can eat. i like to eat, so I stick to clean good tasting food every 3 hours or so to stay satisfied... That way I never really get hungry and I never feel tempted to binge cheat... Im fine with eating healthy because Im not THAT hungry. Ive learned its the hardest to eat clean when youre starving.

Well first of all, I try not to eat out or not eat anything I dont cook because of that reason specifically... You dont know all the ingredients or the calories.... But there are ways... Grab a piece of grilled chicken, stay away from the potatoes, eat a salad, careful on the dressing, after you diet long enough you get good at guestimating calories in certain servings of different kinds of foods.
