I want Floyd to stay UNDEFEATED. It will credit his career when it's all said and done, since NO ONE wants to give him his just due, at least we could look back and say "That man went undefeated, no man was able to put a blemish on his career, that alone is something great in my book. He was also a multi-division lineal WORLD CHAMPION.". I don't like to see great fighters lose, I'm the type of person who recognizes greatness before it's gone.

The same reasons I don't EVER wanna see Anderson "The Spider" Silva lose in the UFC, is because I see how great he is. It'll be a sad day when Floyd is old and people still won't give him the respect he deserves. He EARNED it. He FOUGHT for the fame and money he has. He TRAINED his ass off. Didn't use any drugs. Never been KO'd. Outclasses EVERYONE he fights. Never underestimates his opponents. He brings it in EVERY bout. Don't deny a TRUE fighter and THE Definition of the Sweet Science.

Of course. I wish Roy Jones could have retired undefeated, and Jermain Taylor, Juan Manuel Marquez[only 1 loss]. But they're not.

Floyd could definitely end up undefeated. He's not invincible in the way that Roy was in the 90s with his athleticism. Floyd is just so fundamentally sound and such an intelligent defensive counterpuncher that it's so difficult to see any one penetrate through that defense of his and get the W. Floyd would have to do a complete change in his style and become more of a Juan Manuel Marquez type of aggressive counterpuncher with little defense and then he might lose. But with his current style, I don't see him losing even in to his late 30's. He'd have to move up to 168 and higher for him to finally get some losses. I don't see any fighter in the horizon, up and coming or current, from 140-160 who will be smart enough to outbox Floyd, or big enough to go right through his defense and knock him out. Martinez and Lara seem like the best opponents out there, and i'd still have Floyd over them, but I admit I would be worried though.

If he retires undefeated he will be in the class of Rocky Marciano and Joe Calzaghe. That's not bad at all.

Of course, if you're a fan of someone, you don't want them to lose. I know Roy couldn't have gone undefeated because of that bulls**T DQ loss, but he was undefeated in everyones eyes, had never beaten in the ring. I wish he would have just retired after beating Antonio Tarver the frist time. He had NOTHING to prove. He didn't, and got knocked out by Tarver the next time out, oh well. It deosn't take away from how great Roy was and the things he did in his career.

So yes, I want to see Floyd go unbeaten. But, if he loses, oh well. He's still a Top 30-35 ATG, won titles in 5 weight classes, one of the greatest fighters in his era no doubt, and did a lot more than most do in the sport.

I would love to see Floyd go for the Middleweight title, though I doubt he tries. He doesn't have to, but it would be amazing if he accomplished that. If Floyd wins a Middleweight title, and stays unbeaten, he'd be the first fighter in the history of the sport to go through 6 weight classes while staying unbeaten. I doubt he tries it, but that would seal the deal for his legacy if he did that.

If he retires unbeaten, and beats people like Cotto, Canelo, Khan, Pac and/or Sergio, he'd be inside the Top 20 All-Time. He still has a shot to get there, we'll see what happens.

Floyd's already greater than those two, that's just a poor comment man, really f**king poor.

And if he stayed unbeaten and beat Pac or Sergio, he'd have to take a giant leap forward in his legacy no doubt.

We'll see what happens. He says he's fighting 5 more times, who knows.
