Think of all the fights we would miss out if Americans didn't fight Americans or Mexicans didn't fight Mexicans. You fight the best to be the best and it sounds like Quillin isn't interested in doing so.

How many Mexicans and American boxers have there been in the history of the sport, compared to the amount of Cubans there have been.

Cuban pro boxers in the US are scarce. Why would they eliminate themselves? Doesn't make any sense.

Sounds like a duck excuse to me. Americans fight each other all the time. So do Mexicans, PRs, Dominicans, etc.
He just doesn't want any part of a fight with Lara to me.

I said this yesterday in another thread and the guy said they would if there was no one else to fight. There's always someone else to fight.
