I thought he looked poor early on.
Fighting as a southpaw was odd and he looked uncomfortable, especially when Rogan applied heavy pressure. It just seemed like they decided "hey, that'll confuse the opponent" rather than "I feel more natural in this stance". He got the job done in the end and deserves credit for that, but until his power took effect the style change was pretty unconvincing imo. |

Actually, I reckon he may have gone southpaw JUST to add a talking point for his Channel 5 minions. You can tell he always has one eye on PR the whole time, and fighting southpaw might add to his mythos and make his fanbase grow.

I think the most important thing for him is that his defence was a hell of a lot better than any fight he's had in recent memory. Expect a Fury/Fraudley fight soon..
Al Bernstein stole the show though, he was awesome on commentary and analysis. This man needs to take the incredibly annoying Jim Watt's place on Sky Sports. |
