The IBF has apparently ordered junior flyweight champion Ulises "Archie" Solis (34-2-3, 21KOs) to defend his title against mandatory challenger Johnreil Casimero (16-2, 10KOs). On May 13th, the Filipino boxer will defend his interim-belt against Sammy Gutierrez (31-7-2, 21KOs) at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel & Casino in Cebu City, Philippines. Solis has been inactive since August 2011. He is already in training and preparing himself for a ring return in the near future. Solis suffered numerous injuries, including a broken jaw, from an alleged confrontation with 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez last October.
