Not always the case, as I thought the varying scores were justified last night. There were several close rounds and scoring/refereeing/officiating is all about angles. That's why there's always more than one official for every fight/game/match/etc. In this case, Donaire got the benefit of the doubt in all close rounds on one card (honestly, I thought 9-2-1-even was a bit too wide), while Salado got 'em on the closest card (115-113). 116-112 was the most accurate card, IMO, but there's a case to be made for all three scores.
