The difference between the two is that Wlad has been open to facing all of the challenges in his career (although there wasn't many) while Joe has been content with mediocrity... so I'd say Wlad.

Have to go with Wladimir Klitschko.

Not only for his dominance at heavyweight and because of the number of champions he's beaten, but he won the Olympic Gold Medal as well. Wladimir has been a world champ at the pro and amateur levels. Calzaghe wasn't.

darn you! he's been open to facing all challengers....except the number 1 challenger! small little detail. calzaghe and ottke ran the same scam that vitali and wlad are running now.

neither guy is an all time great but calzaghe at least beat the best guy in 2 divisions although hopkins was dubious. wlad's only beaten the best guy once and he's been ko'd 3 times.

True, but we cant fault either for not wanting to fight their own brother... although that'd be a ppv I'd be willing to buy.

number of champs hes' beaten? he's only beaten 3 guys who were champ when they fought. same as calzaghe did. he's beaten 9 guys total who were current or former champs but then again calzaghe beat 9 current/former champs as well. that means nothing because a lot of those guys were shot like rahman, mercer, brewer, roy jones etc... calzaghe also collected all 4 belts while wlad only has 3. calzaghe was linear champ in 2 divisions although 1 was dubious but still give him credit for taking a risk. wlad's not even the legit linear champ. fighting ruslan chagaev who was number 3 instead of fighting vitali who was 2. come on. fake.
