The thing is, crimes committed by Whites are easily avoided by the public but when it's done by a Black man or minority then it's easily 10-15 years for a petty crime.

If he was rehabilitated and deterred by jail isn't that exactly what jail is supposed to be for? And we're now supposed to condemn this guy for life because of it?

Only reason he didnt do longer was because it was a juvenile case.
