Sylwester Jankowski (BoxingNews.pl): According to Polish journal "Super Express”, Dereck Chisora (15-3, 9 KO) met with representatives of Polish television “Polsat” to talk about making a possible fight with Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO).“Del Boy” came to Poland on Thursday to rest after a tough fight with Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 40 KO) which took place in Munich a week ago. Although Chisora didn’t beat the Ukrainian champion, he became one of the most recognized fighters in heavyweight division.
- We are looking for fights with talented opponents and for better money – said Chisora’s manager, Jerzy Kopiec.
Adamek, former two division champion and current heavyweight contender, also suffered a loss to Vitali Klitschko being stopped by the Ukrainian in September last year. Currently the 35-years old Pole nicknamed “Goral” (“The Highlander”) is preparing for his next fight with Dominican Nagy Aguilera (17-6, 12 KO) which is scheduled for March 24th in New York.
