This division needs a real shake up.

Pirog is holding that belt hostage in Russia and I sense he's happy with his set up even though he's talking retirement. Smoke & mirrors.

Martinez keeps looking for a money fight, but at least fights some semi challenges, but he too could do with a stand out fight, fight Pirog!

Felix Sturm is so damn good you just can't beat him. Ask Macklin.

Chavez Jr is just a paper champ and protected by everyone from the Tv companies, his promoters to the governing body.

They should get a super six style tourney and it would make great viewing if these guys all faced each other, but it's destined to not happen and for each man to keep his belt which b1tching they can't get a fight with the others.

If they pay Jr enough moeny he will fight Martinez? I thought Martinez was the mandatory. The double talk.

Don't worry Jr, Uncle Bob, the WBC (with Suliman heading the charge) and HBO (paying for his mismatches while promoting him as a good must watch fighter) you wont be facing Martinez anytime soon

Jr with all his weight problems can't move up to 168, that is one tough division and his massive weight advantage for fight night would not be so much a factor cause he will be fighting guys as big as him.

There would be a lot of money in a 160 super six cause of some of the names but there are not enough guys to make it competitive

We care because we are paying to see quality fights. Unfortunately, "champions" want to keep their titles and will do whatever is necessary to keep it; fight top tier competition isn't part of the agenda for many titlists. SM hasn't fought anyone because no one wants to fight him; many do not understand that the "Ring Belt" is the legitmate Title. Many sites and organizations fail to mention them. Rarely do they mention it in the boxing intoductions. The ring means the most; why do you think the WBA Super Belt is similar to the Ring Belt? WBC Diamond is trying to be established. WBO now has Super Champs. They all understand that their ABC Titlist means nothing to real fans and they trying to stir things up to bring more revenue. Sanctioning fees; bogus mandatories, and ABC Rule violations..... THE RING BELT Holders are the Champion; never a Titlist....

I think there would be enough guys to make it good. Martinez, Pirog, Sturm, Chavez, Geale, Golovkin and thats before you mention Quillin and some of the 154 guys that would probably jump at this like Lara, Kirkland, etc

I think the people are there, the problem is the financials. Pirog is getting rich fighting in Russia. Sturm is on the slide so probably doesn't want the challenge, but also making bank in Germany. Chavez is the cash cow but heavily protected and with Arum as his promoter you can be sure he will be fighting faded former stars.

Boxing has problems and its due to the economics that they guys pick and chose their fights and avoid fighting each other. They are all as guilty as each other, some are just better with the PR then others and getting us to believe their crap.
