Israel has a huge technologically advanced military and a huge arsenal of nukes. If they were losing the boxing match they would turn it into a knife fight and start dropping nukes. There is no way that they would not use nukes as a last resort so they can't lose. That and the US would be fighting with them at some point. The big ???? is would Russia and China pile in and help Iran when it came to crunch time. If that happened it WW3 and everybody loses.

with too many unfriendly airspace in between.

jordan/saudi/iraq "might" let israel go through their airspace for a strike on iran but politically they can't allow israel to continue do so in a long war.

same thing with the suez canal.

egypt might let israel send ships through for a strike but on multiple occassions in a prolonged war , politically they can't.

saudi arabia never gets involved militarily. their army is there to ensure the saudi king and his family stays in power. that is all.

egypt has its own problems and they would lose all their u.s. aid (especially billions in dollars in military aid)

jordan is the closest thing to a friend israel has in the middle east. they have/had their own issues with palestinians.

syria also got its own issues but militarily is no match for israel. when the soviet union fell , they lost their military largesse. syria doesn't have the oil money other arab states have to buy weapons.
