not really.
too far. with too many unfriendly airspace in between. jordan/saudi/iraq "might" let israel go through their airspace for a strike on iran but politically they can't allow israel to continue do so in a long war. same thing with the suez canal. egypt might let israel send ships through for a strike but on multiple occassions in a prolonged war , politically they can't. |

egypt has its own problems and they would lose all their u.s. aid (especially billions in dollars in military aid) jordan is the closest thing to a friend israel has in the middle east. they have/had their own issues with palestinians. syria also got its own issues but militarily is no match for israel. when the soviet union fell , they lost their military largesse. syria doesn't have the oil money other arab states have to buy weapons. |
