where do you look when you're punching to your opponents body?
do you maintain eye contact, look at chest, or at body/target, just curious.
I always think by looking down I'm kind of telegraphing that i'll be punching the body.

Don't look down, first off as you said you're telegraphing. Secondly you cannot get a full view of your opponent so are more likely to take incoming punches.
I would look at their centre of mass ie: chest area. Basically as high as you can look at them but, not too high you lift your chin up and leave it exposed.

I usually look at the top of the chest and shoulders.
