Vernon “Iceman” Paris had no problem accepting short money in pursuit of his long-term goal.

The unbeaten 140 lb. contender signed his contract Monday evening, agreeing to terms for a 12-round title eliminator with former three-time champion Zab Judah.

The bout will take place March 24 at the Aviator Arena in Brooklyn, NY. NBC Sports will televise.

“I just signed on the dotted line,” Paris (26-0, 15KO) told Boxingscene.com. “I’m getting ready to do my thing against Zab Judah. hmm scary fan for any super Judah fans definetly 50/50. it depends on Judah's style going out, I really liked the way he had been fighting with Sweet Pea in his corner, but he just looked awful against Khan. Paris in a decision victory.

I'm the same way man love Zab his style is killer, I think if he stays smart and out of the way of Paris coming forward he has a chance, he just needs to keep his head moving while Paris comes in and counter counter counter off the jab. lol I think Paris fights really sloppy from what I have seen, Zab will definetly have the opportunities to hurt him if he can make Paris miss. I loved the way Judah ghost boxed against Mabuza if he used that tactic and made Paris think he was hurt he could counter a power shot with his sig left uppercut FTW!

Could be mistaken, but I don;t think he and Pea are still together. Almost positive they won't be for this fight, anyway, as he's training with his pops.
