Hell, looking at the vids, I think anybody of average to moderate fitness could handle it just fine. Then again, this is a nation plagued by obesity, so it's not totally surprising to find out that some people would struggle with it.

That's pretty much exactly how it went down, except I had the sense enough (and the motion detection was kind enough to let me) defend myself quite well, but I was only prolonging the inevitable. Every time I'd catch a shot on my gloves, I'd try to counter really quickly, but it barely ever registered. I was totally pissed at how unrealistic it was, but I got her back not only in all of our following fights on Wii boxing, but in an actual sparring session the following Christmas....She ordered up some of those gigantic kiddie boxing gloves because she wanted to fight me.

Silly girl.

I went easy on her, I'm not that big a dickhead. But we had worked out beforehand that it was just going to be a simple body boxing session, but halfway through the 2nd round (I enlisted her sister as the timekeeper/referee) she became frustrated that she could only hit elbows, so she hauled off and socked me in the nose full force.

I tapped her back right under the ribcage with a hook at about half power, and she folded to the kitchen floor.

The best part about the whole thing was that her uncle was recording it all on video, that's the only thing I still wish I had from that relationship : I'd up it to youtube and post it here for the lulz in a heartbeat.

Apart from the comedic effect of my boxing "skill" (which I don't rate at all, because it's all just basic stuff that was the direct result of growing up watching boxing) vs. her total lack of even the most basic understanding of it : It was probably equally comical in terms of the physical matchup. 6'6" guy who weighs 190 vs. 5'4" girl who weighed probably 135lbs, tops.
