MEMO TO YOU MORON: ITS BOXING. THEY GET HIT FOR A LIVING. There will be damage with or without peds. What peds where Ali's opponents taking back then? Using peds has been part of sports since it went commercial. Primatene: performance enhancer. Baking Soda: performance enhancer. Creatine: performance enhancer. Caffeine: performance enhancer. Cocaine: performance enhancer. Vicodin: performance enhancer. Tylenol with Codeine: performance enhancer. Aspirin: performance enhancer. Every time an athlete gets a pain shot or an anti-inflammatory shot before taking the field, that's an example of using performance enhancing drugs. Peds help athletes. Its not just about being stronger or faster. It heals athletes. IT PROTECTS ATHLETES. Learn to use your brain for once and think for yourself. |

And how do you figure his injuries are due to steroid use? He had a shoulder injury against Byrd if I'm not mistaken. Many fighters have such an injury. His second and biggest injury was a tear of the cruciate ligament, due to a fall. Explain how steroids caused these injuries. The only time Vitali was "caught" using drugs was when he was an amateur ahead of the 1996 Olympics. He had already notified the Ukrainian board that he was taking certain medications to heal an injury he had. The board told him they were perfectly acceptable substances. He had nothing to hide. Those are the facts. You can hate big Vit but the man is one of the greatest fighters of our time. |

Look up common injuries attributed to steroids. I'm on my phone and can't link you at the moment. And no, Vits failed a test and was booted. His excuse was he didn't know what he was taking. In his autobiography though he says he took steroids to heal an injury. |
