Just to play devil's advocate, I believe Sulaiman has been consistent on this issue. There's been rumors that the Sulaiman worked it out with Chavez/Arum, but I haven't heard anything out of his mouth that has confirmed it. Unless I missed something.

why does the WBC website say

"Julio Cesar Chavez called the President of the World Boxing Council to ask his approval for his voluntary defense next February 4, so the President had to called Sergio Martinez who accepted that Chavez Jr. fights because he will also fight in March, so both boxers agreed to fight between them after their voluntary defenses."

Sulaiman is just trying to cover his a$$ because Martinez can sue the WBC for libel.

if the fight isn't approved by the WBC does it mean Juilo "el cobarde" Chavez will be stripped?

from what I read WBC said Jr was ORDERED to fight sergio, period..no RUBIO or no 1 else, period...that's why Sr pays $$ to WBC for protection w/Arum...DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!!!!
