Oleg Hermann, the manager for WBA "regular" middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, was upset with some of the recently published comments which came from Kirill Pchelniko, the promoter for WBO middleweight champion Dmitry Pirog. Pchelnikov claimed in a recent interview that Golovkin's handlers had never sent them an offer for a potential unification, and he later called Felix Sturm the real WBA middleweight champion, and he also advised Golovkin to get a few more fights under his belt in order to build his name.

Pirog should be making more of a name for himself if he wants to be an attractive option for Sergio and HBO.

Fighting Golovkin would be one way to do that so I'm sad to hear that he is ducking Gennady.
