From the article -- "If found guilty of any involvement in this incident, Alvarez is at risk of being stripped of his alphabet title, in accordance with rule 1.25 (C) of the WBC Championship policy"

And in the interview in Los Capitanes, they asked Sulaiman if he could be stripped and he said NO, because what Canelo does in the street doesn't matter to the WBC, and that he will still be the champ
