Default Loreto Garza vs Pernell Whitaker @140

I know some of you are going to tare me up for this prediction but I think Loreto Garza would have had a good chance beating Whitaker based on his style of fighting

Garza did beat boxers with different styles, Coggi, Pazienza, no one took him seriously back then because JC superstar (Chavez) fought in the same class, since this is as easy as it gets, Garza would be lucky to win 3 out of 12 rounds against Whitaker.

DBSML, what about Garzas style makes you think he could have beaten Whitaker? 120-108 Pernell. Are you from the bay area?

Boxing Bob:I would say his height and reach and the fact that he fought tall and had good footwook I dont think he would be there for Sweet Pea Counters. Garza also had an excellent Jab. I think Whitaker to win a fight vs Garza he would have to become a stalker. I dont see anyway he could sit back & Counter and beat Garza from the outside. Im from SoCal
