Why were the OFFICIAL numbers for Shane-Manny never released??

Better question is, why hasn't Showtime/CBS ever challenged the numbers put forth by Arum, especially now considering they're beefing. Also, specific numbers were given:

Arum said Pacquiao-Mosley generated more than $75 million in television revenue with about 700,000 buys coming via cable systems and about 600,000 coming from satellite services.

These are claims that could be EASILY investigated by any scribe/reporter/etc by checking with Nevada and cable companies/satellite providers. I'm sure ESPN fact-checked this before publishing it. So...the company that produced the PPV is supposed to spend money on hiring outside agencies...in an effort to prove that they made a poor investment?
