Good news for Hatton-Maussa fight in November

The unification clash between IBF light welterweight champion Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton and WBA titleholder Carlos Maussa at the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, England on November 26th will be broadcast live in the United States on Pay Per View for only $19.95 at 4:00pm ET. "I originally wanted this fight to be in the States for I could fight in front American fans," said Hatton. "But since that didn’t happen and the fight will be in England, I am happy they will have a chance to still watch it live over the telly." The event is being promoted by Fight Academy in association with Main Events and All-Star Boxing, Inc. The broadcast—the unification bout along with the undercard matches—will be available in over 50 million Pay Per View homes via cable systems from iN Demand & TVN and from satellite providers DirecTV & Dish Network. The broadcast is being distributed in the USA by Integrated Sports.

Is there going to be a televised undercard as part of the PPV package?

I'll probably order this. $20 PPVs are extremely reasonable.

not to mention RARE in our sport. Hopefully it does well and promoters for PPV fights will take note.
