Larry won't be satisfied until everyne on this board is on the Mayweather bandwagon. We get it, he has major accomplishments in his career, and is a future HOF'er, but there are guys before him and Pacquaio that will always be considered better then them. Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, the list goes on. I'll give him his due, he is a hell of a fighter but jesus, feels like Floyd fans won't be satisfied until the world is bowing at his feet. It's the Floyd fans who are more annoying then he is.

BWAA and the Ring mag has Floyd 2nd place in the votes. That is a known fact.

Hopkin's great decade is 1995-2004, not 2000-2009.

To be fair though, there's not a set P4P ranking. Maybe in Larry opinion Hatton was P4P top 5 at the time?

I think he's going by The Ring's rankings.

All his other P4P rankings match The Ring's;

Marquez #2
Mosley #3
Corales Top 5 (#5)

So I presume the same is being used for Hatton.

Alot of people tend to say Hatton was Top 5 P4P when he fought Mayweather because he was #5 a year or two before but he was actually #8 when he fought Floyd as he was when he fought Pac.

I thought Floyd is "only" a 3x lineal champ?
Winning the lineal belt twice at welterweight (Baldomir, Mosley) only counts as one.
