First off Manny never deserved a 50/50 PPV split with Floyd,
Mannys ppv numbers compared to Floyds are terrible.

Floyd bent and gave him the 50/50 split when he never deserved it,
Lets face it, Pacquiao-Marquez III ain't gonna do great PPV numbers,
there is no buzz about the fight, The promotion of this fight has been so weak casual fans don't even know it's happening.

If negotiations for Mayweather-Pacquiao take place in the new year, Floyd should be demanding nothing less then 60-40 split.

I can't see Arum agreeing to anything other than 50:50. And i don't see Floyd doing 1.8M+. Probably like 1.4M - about the same as Pac V Marquez will do

No, 50/50 is fine. I don't care about the split. Arguing about that shit takes us back to 2009. I'm over it.

Don't get it twisted, I'm just saying from a business side of things if the fight this weekend, does the kind of numbers that Schaefer was saying then,
It's logical that Floyd deserves the bigger split.

This **** is getting old. I honestly don't care how much either of them earn. Wow, so what if Manny earns 5 million less dollars? He still gets $xx million.

Schaefer and DLH said May-Mosley would do 4M PPV, so their opinion means very little in this case.

I agree Floyd would probably deserve more (like 55/45 maybe?) if he actually did beat Pacquiao's numbers by a significant amount. But the fight won't happen if Floyd doesn't agree to 50/50 - Arum knows its a risky fight (high risk:high reward) for Pacquiao and will look to make as much as possible.

In that case, Bob Arum will probably tell HBO not to release the actual numbers like he did for Pacquiao-Mosley. Oh wait...
