  • 20B contest: How would Marciano have fared if he went for 50-0?

    Simple question.

The great Rocky Marciano finished his career with a record that is still unrivalled at 49-0. Larry Holmes nearly took the record and also Brian Nielsen failed.

Had Rocky taken one more fight, who do you think he should/would have fought and how would he fare?

He was 'only' at 46 when defeated.

That's close! Holmes was 'only' at 48.

              As for the OQ.

I think he would of fought Floyd Patterson and won my KO in the 5-6 round.

My bad. He was. He was about to break Marciano's record when he dehydrated.

Marciano would have been a solid favorite against any available contender, and I see no reason he wouldn't have won. Rocky had a bad back, but I'm sure if there was a big money fight on the table he would have gone one more.
