The catcher should have done the tag a little bit better, he got the runner on the right thigh but where the umpire is at I would have expected him to see it. The umpire has great view. Its even more funny when the runner even acts like he was out for a second then runs to the home-base to be called safe. I think the Umpire just wanted to go home.

I'm thinking more about it and even tho I still think the catcher tagged the runner on the thigh, I think the catcher should have done a different type of tag and easily could have. I'm not worried about the ump, umping one of my teams because I don't think our catchers would tag like that. Still have a sneak suspicion that the ump may have seen the tag but just really didn't want the game to go on. This game looked like it was never going to end.
