People were angry at the third one and Raimi was asking for too much money to make the 4th movie.

The Studio decided to scale back and re-boot.

This movie's budget is much smaller than any of the other ones.

I guess the blonde is Gwen Stacy, that was the first girl Peter Parker had. Nice touch rather than Mary Jane, who came later.

I can't help but fear they will make this really emo, and it won't have the humor a Spiderman movie should have.

this is what movies have been reduced to? superhero movies, seth rogan, end of the world alien invasions and remakes of a remake. batman is the only superhero movie i'm excited about, fuck all these cheaply made throwaway films intended to promote the new burger king special or toyota's new stationwagon. dumbass people still go to the movies for this shit... stop giving these frauds your money.
